The exciting world of advertising kept Morgaine busy for years. Until, she began to question if she was using her creativity, words and ideas to sell products she didn’t believe in. So she made the leap to freelance, did a digital design course at Central St. Martins, and began creating digital art that she loved.
Then, inspired by entrepreneurs using technology to improve lives, she moved to the start-up world and soon found herself doing a little bit (a lot) of everything. From press releases and business planning one day, to product design and project management the next. And over time she came to understand the incredible value of a well-developed strategic vision. When communicated clearly, beautifully & intentionally, a true vision had the power to make any business blossom. Today she believes that the process of creative design & writing, is an opportunity to develop such a vision.
Always a few steps a head, it’s no wonder that Charlotte started her career in fast paced London advertising agencies, managing clients (such as X-box and Microsoft), directing creative teams and delivering global campaigns. It’s no surprise that after a few years she just needed a break. So she hopped on a motorcycle and traveled Europe and then Asia
- as you do.
Upon returning she decided to see what life would be like in the start-up world. So she joined a New Zealand skin health company as Business Co-ordinator. Overseeing the launch of multiple stores across London required her to get involved in every detail. From interior design, to digital marketing campaigns and branding. She now works with start-ups to develop effective business, marketing and investor strategies. She believes that with detailed thought and planning, every business can thrive.
With a natural eye for design, and an incredible understanding of affiliate marketing, Odette decided to start her own monthly subscription box business.
Offering holistic, mystical and vegan products - Merkababox was launched just a year ago, and marketed only through Instagram. Her creative direction, and thoughtful curation, has rewarded her with hundreds of monthly subscribers and thousands of engaged followers. In parallel she has worked with several brands across London launching and marketing pop-up experiential dining.
Although Merkababox enables her to nurture and promote the conscious brands that she loves, she recently decided to go a step further and share her social media wisdom with them too. Through insightful coaching and magical content curation, she helps brands to find, connect and engage their fans.
